My husband won't let me watch The Time Traveler's Wife because he says it looks too sad. Can anyone tell me if the movie really is too sad. I really want to see it, darn it!

I am having lots of trouble getting hold of Ron's films which are for the UL Region 2. Music Within, Two Ninas, Swingers and A Rumor of Angels, can anyone out there help?

I was very disappointed with Time Traveler's Wife. As usual, the book was way better than the movie. The movie jumped right in to where they both met in current time and the very beginning showed how Henry first experienced his travel. Most disappointing was Ron's character Gomez. The movie did not portray him the same as the book, having that "evil" side (remember how after Henry's death he did the nasty with Clare right on the table in the cheerios just before his wife and kids pulled up?) The movie just made him out to be a good friend, which he was, but also had a secret affection for Clare

I just watched the film again and I think it´s amazing. It shows the feelings of Clare in a moving way and isn´t too sad at all. But I agree, Ron isn´t shown very often, he expresses what his role is supposed to feel for Clare. Still, a bit more of their story mentioned in the book, would have been great.
